The Sentinel is one of our enemy types for Synapse, which soars around unleashing a laser from it's glowing red halo. This character was a particularly fun design to realise in 3D, working closely with concept and design, to combine elements of a pilot, rotor blades of a helicopter. And features similar to a cyclops and the psyco mantis.
The amazing concepts were created by Toby Pearce along with Art Direction by Alina Fedaseyenka.

The Rigging & Animation was done by Dave Matthews. I was responsible for the full process of this enemy from modelling, gameres, texturing and materials. Along with the incredible VFX work by Mathias Tossens and Victor Martinez. All within Unreal Engine 5.
